AI Mythbusting

  • AI is a tool that can enhance and assist creatives, not replace them. AI may be able to generate content, but human oversight, creativity and empathy are still needed.

  • While some tasks may be automated, AI will likely create new and emerging roles for creatives. Roles that focus on strategy, creative leadership and building human connections will become more important.

  • While current AI has limitations in contextual understanding and originality, the capabilities are rapidly evolving. With the right human guidance, AI can produce innovative ideas and content.

  • Understanding AI is becoming increasingly important for creatives to leverage it effectively. Learning how to use AI tools and collaborate with technologists will be a valuable skillset.

Prompting Best Practices

Prompts are your input of text in the form of questions or commands to a chat-based AI

Large language models can provide results with diminishing returns or disorganized information. Ask for certain parameters or format to achieve best output.

Create 5 names for a start-up house plant business. The names must have 2 words each and must reference the culture of Savannah, Georgia.

Rather than asking “tell me about_” ask a question with as much detail as possible. provide the AI with specific criteria.

I'm training for a sub-4 hour marathon. Provide a 16 week training plan with weekly mileage, workouts, target paces, and recovery recommendations.

Ask AI to act as an expert or a person to better answer your question and provide context to the subject.
